Ohhhh, I wish a dog had walked across the playground at my school. Not that the headmaster would have let such a thing happen, he was a Hitler and with a dodgy name 'Mr Rimmer'. There was probably an invisible electric fence to stop animals getting up close and personal. If a dog had come up to me in the playground I would have gone off with it on more…

I had the same problem regarding writing a novel; had wanted to for years, but was always getting distracted from actually doing it. The internet is a massive distraction. I just had to force myself to keep off it while I was writing, apart from checking my emails, and if any came in that needed a lengthy response, they'd have to wait until late on more…

In fact, when a small animal feels death coming upon it it crawls away into some hidden nest, lair or hole in the ground and dies there. Decomposition is rapid and the ants carry away the small bones. Sometimes the rats or a fox find the cadaver and scoff it for a passing snack. So you see, nature with the help of bluebottles etc. sorts it all out more…

Totally agree about trains, can't stand 'em, and, fortunately rarely have to use them. I used to know a bloke called Roger who always caught the train to work but, for some reason, brought his bike along as well; it didn't make sense, and I always wanted to ask him why, but in the end I decided not to because I enjoy having mysteries to ponder over more…
